Can't transfer my domain, says its locked.

    I have gone through the process of the support page of how to unlock my domain, problem is when I go to hostgator (the hosting service I want to transfer to) it’s giving me the message that my domain is still locked even after unlocking it.

    The domain name is much older than 60 days as I had it for quite some time and I followed all the instructions very carefully…

    Can anyone shine some light on this situation? Thank you.
