Cant transfer the domain

  Hi,
  I want to transfer the domain alboarding.com but i’m getting the error: ‘These settings can be changed by the user alboarding.’

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi!

  Transferring out your domain depends on time since registration. If you’re trying to transfer it out within 60 days of registration, that wouldn’t be possible because of ICANN guidelines.

  I am also tagging the post with “modlook” for the WordPress.com staff’s attention. They can provide clarity on your domain purchase.

  Hi there,

  I want to transfer the domain alboarding.com but I’m getting the error: ‘These settings can be changed by the user alboarding.’

  Please check that user, alboarding, is the administrator (or owner) on WordPress.com site. Only the user having administrator access can transfer the domain. Here is the support document for user roles: https://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/.

  Moreover, I see that the domain’s (alboarding.com) transfer is still pending. Follow the steps given in this support document (from administrator user) to complete the domain transfer: https://en.support.wordpress.com/incoming-domain-transfer/status-and-failed-transfers/.

  You’re getting this error message because the domain owner is alboarding and not albitcoiny which you’re logged in and posting to this thread.

  Nonetheless, the transfer process has already started (2018-01-22) and will take around 5 days to be completed.
