I don’t have any issues with typing in english but the problmes arose when I’m typing in Korean. For example when i type the letter “갈” it instantly becomes “ㄱㅏㄹ.” What’s the issue here? How can i fix it? Thanks!

    Hi Charlotte,

Are you still having issues with this? I took a look at your site and found that I am not seeing this error. I just tested this out on my test site and found that this wasn’t happening in the new and classic editor as seen here:

Let me know if you have any questions with this!

Hi Grace, thank you for your comment.
Yes i tried sevral times today but it’s still the same.

The following link will show you the error on my page:
    https://chorongchoi.wordpress.com/2015/03/05/test-page/

You can see several korean characters are being separted.
It’s happening so randomly so sometimes i can write several sentences without any errors, but mostly I can’t even write one sentence without errors :(

Oh and plus, i don’t think it’s my laptop issue because i tested out on other computers and same errors were occured.

    Hi Charlotte,

I wasn’t able to reproduce this even within your post. Would you mind if I made edits within that post? From my editor the Korean text is not turning out how you described. I want to make sure it’s not happening after you hit Publish. In the editor itself (before you hit Publish) it is fine for me.

If you can describe exactly when the characters get separated like that it would be helpful because for me it’s not happening within the editor itself.

You may make edits on my page if you can! and characters get separated whether i publish(view) a post or not (editor).

One clue that I just found is that the error comes up when I delete a character and rewrite it. For example, I write a character “알” but I need to correct this to “안”. So I delete the “알” and try to type “안” instead but it never becomes one character rather it turns into each constant and vowel like “ㅇㅏㄴ”.

So any spots that I take a character away become a error maker as it seems.

    Hi there,

So I tried doing exactly what you said, and I’m still not able to reproduce this as seen in this screencast:

Let me know if that’s what you meant.

    Hi Grace,
have you tried to delete the letter and type that back again?
    1) type 알
    2)delete it
    3) retype it

    thanks for a help!

I tried that and it’s working fine for me:
