Can't unfollow a blog

  I am getting emails from a blog I apparently signed up for on WordPress however when I got to manage subscriptions to unfollow it the blog is not there. It is colleenchesboro.com. Please help me to unsubscribe. Thank you.

  Hi there,

  To unfollow a blog, follow these steps:
  1 – log in to wordpress.com
  2 – in the top, left corner, you’ll see a link called Reader. Click it.
  3 – in the menu that appears on the left, there’s a button called Manage next to Followed sites. Click on this.
  4 – find the page you want to unfollow. To the right there’s a green text that says Following. Click this, and you’re not following them anymore.

  Please also note that you may follow blogs, but still choose to not receive email updates from these blogs. Here’s how to do that:

  1 – go to https://wordpress.com/me/notifications/subscriptions
  2 – scroll down to the bottom of the page. Check the option for Block all email updates from blogs you’re following on WordPress.com, and then click on Save Notification Settings.

  Thanks but that isn’t the blog I am having trouble managing. innergardenpath is my own blog that I never set up. It is also my Reader account as far as I can determine. It is colleencheseboro.com that I want to unsubscribe from entirely. Not just email notifications. And somehow her blog is not using the email address associated with my word press account. So those tips do not work or apply.

  I see. That webpage doesn’t seem to exist. At least I cannot find any hosting provider for it, and nothing appears when I try to enter the site.

  May I ask why you think you’re getting these emails because you signed up for them on WordPress.com? It sounds weird if you’re getting emails to a different email adress than the one registered for your WordPress.com account.

  I am fairly certain I signed up on WordPress for her blog. The emails come from her WordPress website. This is the URL I am brought to when I click on the email. https://colleenchesebro.com/ and it is in WordPress.

  You put two different URLs:
  colleencheseboro.com
  and
  colleenchesebro.com

  What is the real URL?

  a) Go to https://wordpress.com/following/edit and find https://colleenchesebro.com/ there.
  b) Click on Following and you’re not following https://colleenchesebro.com/ anymore.

  I figured it out by signing out of my account innergardenpath. Then I clicked on the Unsubscribe in the email at the email addy not associated with my innergardenpath account. I do not have two accounts according to WordPress however I remember giving Colleen Cheseboro my private email addy. So I don’t know how that works but I finally got unsubscribed. Sorry for all the confusion. As a reader I don’t find WP very user friendly at times. Thanks everyone that tried to help.
