Can’t unsubscribe from a site

    So I think I signed up to be notified of new comments after I commented on a blog that looks to have their own domain but is using wp.com as the backend & now I’m getting tons of his emails & I want them to stop & I can’t because the email isn’t tied to a wp.com account & when I click on manage, it says I’m not subbed to any subscriptions.

    We tried it in incognito & still same issue.

    Please help.

    Yes, this problem started sometime in November 2023 when WP.com changed the way the commenting field looks like. When I clicked “Email me new comments” on a post on a WP.com blog, I started getting email notifications on ALL comments that were made on that blog, not just the specific post that I was commenting on.

    When I click “Email me new comments” on a blog post I want an email notification when a new comment is made on that particular post. NOT a notification on all comments made on any post on the blog.

    I think I manage to turn this off by going to the https://wordpress.com/read/subscriptions but that doesn’t work if the email is not connected to a WP account (as you said).

    Please, fix this WP.
