can't unsubscribe from blog posts

  I responded to a comment on a WordPress.com site (http://vtresponse.wordpress.com) and now I am flooded by email notices every time a new post is published. When I click the “Unsubscribe or change your email settings at Manage Subscriptions” and log into my account, it tells me I’m not following anyone.

  Where to I unsubscribe from this blog????

  At the bottom of each email you get, there’s a link to unsubscribe.

  The advice below probably pre-dates the moment subscriptions/follows changed, but you might try it:

  This is crazy. I went to the “Global Dashboard” and it says “You have no active subscriptions.” Could this be something that the blog owner has control over instead?

  Have you subscribed under a different username or on an email address only basis?

  And believe me, blog owners do not have control over their subscribers anymore.
