Can’t update card information

I received a notification that my domain was about to expire. I wanted to update my card information, as the credit card I used to purchase this domain two years ago has expired. However, when I log in, there is no billing history, and the ‘Purchases’ tab says, ‘You have no WordPress sites yet.’ Please tell me how I can renew this domain before it expires.

It sounds to me like you’ve just signed in to the wrong account. The one that you are currently using, laura719 has no upgrades, domain, or previous charges associated with it.
Please let me know which site you’re looking to renew and I’ll tell you which account to sign in to. Once you are signed in properly, you’ll be able to update the card details by following these steps:

I was trying to update my credit card information for howtocasual.com. I tried clicking the links directly from the renewal notices that WordPress was sending me also (to my registered email address), and I had the same problem even when accessing my profile and payment pages through those links.
To be clear, when I log in as laura719 and visit howtocasual.com, I am able to access my own WP dashboard for that domain; I was under the impression that this was only possible when you were signed into the appropriate account?
Any help would be much appreciated!

Just an update: I tried logging into a different account, and it did work — so the above suggestion was correct. I’m not sure how I have a WordPress account that doesn’t happen to be attached to any of my sites (and yet shows me as logged into howtocasual.com), but at least I’ve resolved the billing situation in time! Thank you again.

You should have an admin bar, but it wouldn’t be for howtocasual.com . In fact if you got to https://wordpress.com/stats/day you’ll find you don’t have any sites on this account at all.
Can you log out here… https://wordpress.com/me/account
… then log back in again as user “20yearsfromnow” ? Don’t use a social sign-in, just type the username. You can reset your password if needed.
