Cant update domain!

    Hei, I am a designer thats taking over this web site okidalane.no and apparently their domain expires in two days. I am trying to update it for one more year (13$) but it doesn’t let me. I get this message ‘This subscription was originally purchased by another user. Please ask the subscription owner to renew the subscription.’ The previous owner (the one that created the web) is nowhere around and no longer manages the web. How do i fix this problem?

    Hello Greta,

    The person who purchased the domain name is the only person who can log in to renew that domain.

    In order to renew the domain, you need to become the website owner and transfer the domain name to you, so you own it and can renew it yourself.

    Is there any way for you to contact the previous owner or transfer the domain name to you?
