Can't update payment method on wordpress.com

I’ve tried updating a payment method to wordpress for my site and it just won’t let me. It is continually giving me the following errors
Cannot assign payment method if Stripe is not loaded
Error preparing new payment method configuration. Please contact support quoting error HYTFSI.

Sorry to be clear, my website itself is taking payments fine because I have it done through paypal.
I can’t update MY payment method on wordpress.com to pay for shipping.
