Can't update/download anything for wordpress site

  I’m not able to update my wordpress, I get this error message “Could not copy file.: wordpress/wp-admin/js/customize-nav-menus.js”. Also I can’t update any plugins or download any themes on my site, for themes I get error messages like this: “Could not copy file. minimalzerif/screenshot.png”. Why is this happening? And I am an administrator for this site.

  Hi there. What is the URL of your site? It sounds like you might have a self-hosted WordPress.org site, in which case you’re in the wrong forum. This support forum is only for free WordPress.com blogs. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and different: http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
