Cant upgrade my plan

    I am trying to connect a domain that I own to the site I just built in wordpress, but for that I need to get an annual wordpress plan. When I try upgrading to the annual Personal Plan, I get an error saying that ‘Sorry, that plan is not compatible with this site.’. I am only able to go to checkout if I choose the Business or Commerce Plans. Please let me know what I can do as I need to use my own domain on this wordpress website instead of the wordpress domain I currently have.

    Hi there,

    What Plan are you interested in purchasing? You are unable to add any plan other than Business or eCommerce because your site is a plugin-enabled site at the moment.

    We can revert the site back to a non-plugin-enabled site, but we must confirm that you understand:

    1. Any content (pages, posts, media, comments, etc) added after adding outside themes and plugins will be lost.
    2. Any custom content created by plugins and themes will not be carried over.
    3. Plugins and third-party themes can no longer be used.
    4. The site will revert to using the old theme.

    Please make backups, and ensure you have your content ready to re-upload if needed. We can proceed once you’ve confirmed.
