Hi there,
What is the domain you’re trying to register, and is it not accepting the post code on the screen where you have to enter the domain contact information, or the screen where you have to enter payment information? Did you select the country as UK before entering the post code?
Our system expects the post code to be entered in uppercase letters, with a space before the last three characters. If you enter it that way it should not return that it’s invalid.

The domain is “everybodyloves.life” and yes it’s on the domain contact info screen. Selected United Kingdon as the country and attempted to enter the postcode in uppercase with a space and it seems to automatically remove the space (have tried this on two different devices) and it rejects the postcode as invalid.

I just tried entering the post code, WC2N 5DU (Trafalgar Square), and it accepted it without problems. Can you please give me the code you’re trying to use so I can test it?

Hi, I too am having trouble having valid UK postcode accepted – whole form refuses to accept normal spacing. Thanks! Julia

I would suggest trying a combination of adding/taking away a space between the two codes (XXX XXXX / XXXXXXX) or with lowercase letters (xxx xxxx). Also, certain browsers have problems accepting the postal code, so I would try a different browser.

Thank you, but the whole page declines spaces and automatically reverts to capitals. Forgive my ignorance- how would I change to another browser without losing my progress to checkout? Thanks, Julia.

That’s very kind – are you an altruistic forum user? I wish WordPress could get to grips with this! All the best, Julia. Sent from my iPad

@haberystwyth
Please see my comment above about which format our system expects for the post code. If that doesn’t work, please give me the exact code you’re trying to use so I can check.

Hi,
I try to enter “capital capital numeral (space) capital capital numeral.
The form will not allow me to input a space.
The same thing happens with the address, will not allow me to insert space between house number and road name.
Thank you. -
Okay, I see what you mean. If there’s any pause in typing after adding the space, it gets removed again. That looks like a bug, and I’ve reported it to our developers.
But if you paste in the info with the space, type very quickly so there’s no pause after adding the space, or if you insert the space in the correct position after typing all the text, it will not be stripped out, so please try those workarounds for now.
