Can’t Upload Anything Anymore

Hi folks…I’ve had my blog for several years, and I upload pictures and PDFs sporadically. For several months now, I’ve been unable to upload anything — if I do it through the Dashboard / Media Library / Add New, A) I have to use the Browser Uploader (I don’t think the Flash Uploader has ever worked for me, actually) and B) now it says “Error Saving Media Attachment”, no matter what the size or type. If I try to upload something using the tools in the Add New Post page, I can select a file, and then when I press “Upload” it waits just a second and returns me to typing my new post — but whatever link I just made won’t work, and if it’s a picture I just get the blank-white-box-with-an-x icon. I’ve deleted a bunch of stuff in case the issue was space, but that didn’t help. Have logged out, cleared cookies, and rebooted many times while still getting this error…I’m running version 3.0.4 with all the latest updates, but I’ve had this problem since at least two versions ago. I’ve been getting around it by storing my pictures and files on my husband’s website, but that’s not really an option anymore…please help me fix mine! Thanks!
