Can’t upload custom header in Blix theme

Hello – last week I was able to upload the custom header, and now it’s gone. I have tried numerous times to re-upload it, however it will not upload even after it says it did – post-cropping. Help?

If you have CSS edited the blog then you can no long use the image uploader but must link to the header image in the CSS sytlesheet.
If you haven’t CSS edited the blog then be aware that the best practice is to prepare your images offline first by resizing them to the exact size required before uploading it into your blog Also note that wordpress.com does not over-write images so use distinct titles to differentiate between the image you first uploaded and any others you tried to uplaod with the same file name.
Also be sure that the extension on the image is one of these only:
.jpg
.jpeg
.png
.gif -
I just remembered something. Try these techniques because yesterday we discovered a member with the same theme (Blix) could not see her header using using her browser but we could see it using Firefox 3.5.7
