Can't upload custom there

    I signed up because my business needs a launch page and I wanted use launcheffectapp.com. There are tutorials on the web that show how to load themes onto wordpress but these are apparently out of date. (search youtube and you’ll be flooded with old tutorials, and yours suck too btw :)

    Launch effects site also suggests this is pretty straightforward. It wasn’t. I just wasted a ton of time trying to figure it out only to determine you don’t seem to allow it anymore.

    I don’t doubt that there is some crafty work around that would make it work but my time is valuable and I don’t give a shit :) (I mean that nicely, kinda).

    I’m gonna go pick on Launcheffect now.

    Full disclosure, I’m not a tech expert but I am reasonably intelligent person and in 2012 should I have to be a web guy to do something so simple? The system here is the issue. Make it simply folks…

    I’m sorry, but themes can’t be uploaded to WordPress.com. That’s a feature of self-hosted blogs through WordPress.org.

    You may use any of the available themes we have under Appearance > Themes in your dashboard, and you may want to look into purchasing the Custom Design Upgrade to customize one of the themes we offer.
