Can't upload files larger than 500kb

  I have a blog and a web site with wordpress. I can upload files of 500KB or larger to the blog media library but NOT to the web site media library. I am not an experienced user so I don’t know where to look to fix this. I’m using WIndows 7 Home Premium. I have Windows Firewall disabled. Can anybody help me? Thank you!

  Sounds like the problem is with the website, not the blog. What is the exact URL?

  Don’t think it’s the site as I was able to upload a large file to the same media library using my old laptop. It seems that my newer desktop system (Windows 7) is where the problem might be. But, then, I’m not an expert.
