Can’t upload flash due to security error

  I’ve been playing with the browser and flash uploaders to no avail. Several other posts regarding flash seem to suggest that the swf file format is somehow forbidden (or at least it doesn’t appear as a permissable file type). What gives? Does WP forbid this entirely or is this just a glitch in the uploader? Thanks for your feedback!

  p.s. Why would WP offer a “flash uploader” and then not allow the wsf extension?

  A “flash uploader” is not the same thing as allowing flash to be uploaded. The uploader itself uses flash, thus it is called a flash uploader (as opposed the the browser uploader).

  You cannot upload flash here.

  What filetypes can I upload?
