Can't upload images states HTTP error?

On my website, Edie’s Village Store, I was not able to upload another picture after uploading the first one? When I try to upload, be it through the initial screen or the browser, I get an error message that states HTTP error? My website is no good to me if I can’t upload images? Do you know why this has happened and how to correct it please?

  • It’s possible that the image file could be corrupt. Do any other images upload properly?

Other images do upload properly, but then there’s another that won’t? I’m not understanding why some will and some won’t as I scan them on the same scanner using the same settings. When the photos that I try to upload eventually say HTTP error, what happens is they don’t crunch, and when I go to the page, they are massive and take up the entire space leaving no room for text! This is very frustrating as you can image as I am trying to market my publishings on Kindle. Thanks for any input you can offer in resolution of this problem,
    Klacey.

  • Do you have an image editor on your computer that would allow you to save or export the image in a web-safe format?
