Can't upload more than one picture at a time

Over the past several months I have not been able to upload more than one picture at a time on my blog. I upload one picture, and then when I try to put a space in so I can upload another picture, my cursor never shows up. I prefer to post pictures one after another, but not the little “snap-shot” pictures I have had to resort to posting recently. I updated my web browser, but it didn’t change anything. Please help me!

What Browser did you have? I recommend to have Google Chrome Or Firefox. Although make sure you have a strong Internet connection. Also make sure that your images is not very long. Try it out, and tell us how it goes.

Hello there,
I located your blog http://joyinthelittlethings.wordpress.com/ and would like to suggest that you link it to your username. Dashboard -> Users -> Personal Settings -> then scroll down to Account Details. Then scroll down to where it says ‘Website‘ select the URL for your primary wordpress.com blog and then save changes.Now every time you sign into the forum we can all click on your username and your blog will be linked to it. And every time you leave a comment on a blog your username can be likewise clicked and your blog can be instantly located.

Please try clearing your browser cache and cookies. Any browser version can be upgraded here if it’s out of date. Please let us know how you make out with trying those troubleshooting techniques.

tptutorials- I have Internet Explorer. I have not had problems using it until the last few months.
Doesn’t the image show up as too big when you try to upload the picture?timethief- I also just cleared my browser cache and cookies, so maybe I just need to try Firefox. Thanks for the help, and I’ll let you know what I figure out.

This may caused by latest updates of your Internet Explorer. But again, when you uploading an image, of course is big, you have to scale it, as you want it. I recommend to use Firefox, and then test it out with Google Chrome also. If doesn’t work, let us know how it goes!

@ joyinthelittlethings – I’m not sure if this is what you mean, but is the problem happening in the visual editor? If so you could try doing what I do and that is, when you want to put in a new picture, click on the HTML tab and directly after the code for the image you’ve put in your post, type an x. Then go back to the visual editor and you should find that the x appears below the image. Put your cursor to the right of the x and upload another picture, and keep going like that. When you’ve got all the images you want, just delete all the x’s in the visual editor. I had this problem with the last theme I was using. I hope that helps – if not, I’m sure someone else will be able to help you eventually.
