Cant upload .mp4 files

  Every time I try to upload an .mp4 video to my ‘media and text’ block, it comes up with an error message ‘this file type is not supported’. But when I look online it says that WordPress does accept mp4, so I have no idea why its not working – the file size is only 20mb

  Hi there, in order to upload videos to your site’s Media Library you need at least the Premium upgrade plan. https://wordpress.com/pricing/

  Regardless of plan, you can embed videos hosted elsewhere, such as vimeo, youtube and the like.
