Can’t upload Pics to my Bolg Pages

I am trying to post pics of my new Graddaughter to my blog. They upload to the media library but will not show up in my post.
Some of them won’t even add the html to the post when I do the add picture thing, others add the html but will not display.
does anyone have any suggestions?

Many, many people have reported difficulties of all kinds with this step, as you can see here:
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/tags.php?tag=imagesWhat browser and version are you using? What is the URL of your blog, starting with http? (if you change the website on your Profile page to your blog, we won’t need to ask again; it’s handier for everyone)
If you can upload images to the library, just copy the URL, close the pop-up box, and put them in your post using the Image Icon, the tree. Put the URL in the first line and format the rest of it as you like.

I’ve tried to upload since Monday the 10th and canot get the pics to display on my blog. they are in the media gallery but will not display.
The last successful picture insertion was on the 8th. I am using IE 7.0 and Firefox 5.0 neither one works. I’ve tried to add my pic to my sidebar as well, the html shows up but pic doesn’t display

I can only put one image on a post, is this normal?
I’d like to be able to put a few images.Also the position formatting is being ignored. I tried to centre the image and it is left justified.

I’m getting multiple images now.
Why do all images post at the top of the post?
When I move the text in html the next post takes precendence at the top. Is this normal?

You should be able to put any number of images in a post, but you can run into trouble putting them side by side or overlapping.
I noticed a glitch earlier with images not showing that are showing now. I think it was a temporary server problem.
The URLs don’t show in the normal library view: you click on Show and then you get the individual image; right-click and copy image location. That adds some thumbnail code at the end of your whatever.jpg, but just delete everything after .jpg and put that in.
For alignment, I always use the column alignment buttons. They seem to outrank other commands.

No, it’s not normal to always have the picture at the top of the blog. I can’t see anything in the code that would make it do that, either.
