Can't upload pictures from windows live writer to new blog

  I have had a blog on WordPress (baderjournal) for more than a year. I have made many posts to it from windows live writer containing photos from my computer. Today I created a new blog (badertestblog) in anticipation of a long trip, but when I tried posting from windows live writer it said my blog does not support images, & wouldn’t post them. I was able to post the very same draft on my old blog on WordPress without any problem. The settings of the two blogs seem to be the same, and I can’t figure out what is causing this. What should I do to enable posting photos on the new blog (I don’t want to use the FTP option because I will be posting from a cruiseship where internet time is very expensive, so I need to be able to create the blogposts entirely offline before simply submitting them to my blog).

  Just to add an additional point that might be indicative: windows live writer also says it can’t download my theme on the new blog (Book Lite). I tried a couple of others, but WLW says it can’t download those either. Yet it contineus to work just fine with my original blog (baderjournal), including displaying the theme on that blog. I don’t understand the inconsistency in WLW’s interaction with these two blogs. By the way, the blog I need help with is badertestblog.wordpress.com, not baderjournal; it was my error that the later is listed in the original posting as the problem blog.
