can't upload theme

  Hi,

  I just singed up and bought a domain name through wordpress,
  Prior to doing this I bought a theme for ~60$,

  I want to upload that them but am unable to find any type of “upload” option in my admin dashboard-
  I’m also unable to see if there is any other option,
  Currently I’m fumbling around with the ftp option to no avail,

  Please advise.

  Themes can’t be uploaded to sites hosted on WordPress.com. They can only be uploaded to self-hosted blogs running on WordPress.org software. You can read more about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org here:

  I haven’t found anything similar to this one on the free or premium ones on WP themes site- I might try altering the one I have by default, how much flexibility do we have to alter our own pages in wp.com?

  It looks like the Edin theme might be close:

  Can you give that one a try?

  Regarding the flexibility, you can add your own Custom CSS. However, you cannot edit page templates or make more involved code adjustments like changing php files.
