Can't use the "leave a comment" application

I am using the Chunk Theme. My site is imveryape.com. WordPress has appeared to have made a permanent transition to the new “add post” format, and with that, for some reason, I can’t keep on the “leave a comment” option

Hi there,
In the new post editor, you can turn on comments in the “Advanced Settings” section in the sidebar. Under “Discussion” there, you can check the box next to “Allow Comments” to turn them on.
You can also turn on comments by default on new posts from your site’s Discussion Settings. Under “Default article settings” you can check the box next to “Allow people to post comments on new articles.” With that setting checked, all of your new posts will have comments turned on by default (and you can turn them off in the post editor for individual posts if you want).

Ya, I tried both of those, and the “Leave a comment” still doesn’t appear to the left side of my post. This is the first time this problem has ever happened. I am clicking on the box and updating. And I changed the default settings and saved it. Still, not showing up. You can see it on my site beside the latest “best new music” entry.

Hm, that’s odd. I just turned on comments on your latest post and the checkbox in the editor worked for me. I now see the comments open on that post here:
