can’t use this domain

    douwère.be (or xn--douwre-6ua.be) are mentioned as ‘wrong’ but are OK… is it true that I can’t use these domain on wordpress ?

    I see that your domain includes the language-specific character ‘è’. This type of domain is known as an Internationalized Domain Name (IDN).

    Currently, WordPress.com does not support the use of IDNs. This is why our system is recognizing “douwère.be” as incorrect. We understand how important it is for you to use a domain that matches your intended name, and we are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

    Thanks for the quick reply. Perhaps instead of writing “This is not a valid domain” you should, imho, write “This type of domain is currently not supported”.
