can't verify WordPress credentials on IFTTT

  hi,
  I’m trying to automate some of my marketing and sharing so i signed up on IFTTT and have tied all social profiles and my websites except my wordpress.com site. Every time I try to connect it I get ‘Unable to verify WordPress credentials’. I have no problems accessing my site with the
