cant view a list of followers

  when i view my site without being logged in near the follow button it says “31 others” but when i log in and view my followers through stats theres isnt anyone? can i only see how many followers i have by viewing without been logged in?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi!

  When you’re logged in, you can see a list of your subscribers from your stats page here:

  https://wordpress.com/my-stats/?blog=79217201&blog_subscribers&unit=1

  I suspect you’re referring to the follower count here:

  http://d.pr/i/71qa

  If so, that will only appear to logged-out users.

  The difference between the two counts (your stats page and the logged-out window) is that the former breaks the followers out into WordPress.com followers and Publicize followers (from Twitter and Facebook). The latter combines the two so you’re seeing a combined number of followers on WordPress.com and Twitter. Does that help to clarify?

  aaaaaahhh yes sorry i am very new to all this, but thank you. Finally the ‘follow me’ button at the bottom of the screen offers the option to type an email address in. However the the colour of the box is white and the font is also white im guessing as you cant see it when you type your email address in. Can you shed any light on this for me??

  Nice find!

  Your theme makes that text white so that it looks better in the Follow Widget, but the theme designers must’ve missed how it affects the widget for logged-out visitors.

  If you’ll add this CSS to your site, it’ll make the text readable:

  #loggedout-follow-field{
  	color:rgb(45, 45, 41) ;
  }

  I’ll let the theme folks know about this too, to fix it for everyone else. :)
