Running Google Chrome Version 45.0.2454.93 m

It seems to bounce back and forth r-login.wordpress.com and the site itself.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I would try another browser. You can download one here http://browsehappy.com

Works fine with IE. Must be an issue with Chrome.

You’re welcome. I assume if you had this issue there will be others so Staff need a heads up.

Odd. If you use an incognito window (which should take out several add-ons) do you see the same issue in Chrome?

Also, I’m assuming you’ve cleared the cache and what not. Let us know.

Trying it in Incognito mode brings it up straight away. Otherwise, I have to clear the cache every time to make it load. Once I do, the site pops up right away.

To clarify, do you have to clear the cache with every page load in Incognito?

No, Incognito is where it just comes right up. Without Incognito, I have to clear the cache or it gets hung up. The address bar at the bottom keeps jumping back and forth between r-login.wordpress.com and the site itself.

Okay, then it’s likely a setting or extension you’re using. You might try making a new user profile in Chrome to see if the fresh one is unaffected. Or you might disable some of your extensions, or take the settings back to default.

In the meantime, though, do know that your site is loading well for others who use Chrome. Cheers!

I found the problem. It’s when I log into my WordPress account that my site becomes inaccessible to me. I can load it just fine if I’m not logged into WordPress, and I can use the WordPress tools to actually work on the site. But actually loading the site itself becomes impossible the moment I sign in, and the moment I sign out, I can load my site again.

@brandonjadams1 – Hmm, I’m trying to log in as you in chrome and I still can’t duplicate this.

Have you tried logging in with the incognito window or IE?

Yes. The site loads fine in both IE and Incognito Chrome, even when I’ve logged into WordPress.

I do have one plugin that might be causing the problem, but I’ll need to talk to its provider and get the service suspended in order to test its impact. I’ll let you know.

Further, I’m also unable to load some other WordPress blogs. I cannot, for example, load ethanrenoe.com, but I can load christyfitzwater.com.

If you only have one plugin, you might consider resetting Chrome then adding the plugin back in afterward:
