Cant view post in preview before publishing

For the last few months now I have been unable to preview my post prior to publishing. When I click preview post it says “Sorry, no posts to preview.”
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The website attached as a link to your name is not a WordPress.com blog, and we will be unable to help you. Do you perhaps need to be at WordPress.org?

Will you please link your wordpress.com user name to your wordpress.com blog? That way we will avoid any confusion when we click your username and find it’s linked to any other site.Dashboard > Users > Your Profile. Then scroll down to where it says ‘Website‘ and replace the URL of the site you have linked to now with with http://creativebleed.wordpress.com and then click ‘Update Profile‘.
Perhaps you can find the post or page you created in draft posts or in draft Pages. If not it could be in your Trash. Have you looked in those places?

There was no website to replace, but I added creativebleed.wordpress.com anyways. Yes the post is a draft, the problem is I cant preview the draft before I publish the page.

You should be able to preview a draft. What browser/OS are you using? Any chance you can check a draft preview using another browser on the same computer to see if the problem is limited to one browser?

Thanks. I’m using FireFox, I just did a test in safari and the preview DOES work in safari. Whats interesting though is I have another blog which I DO NOT have a problem checking a draft in preview using FireFox or Safari. I first noticed this with creativebleed when I switched themes a few months ago. Could that have something to do with it? Certain themes are designed for certain browsers?

I think it’s a bug. :) I think it happens when you try to preview a post on a blog that has a custom domain name set as the primary domain, and it only happens in Firefox (3.6.2 on a Mac in my tests). You can confirm if you temporarily set the primary domain back to creativebleed.wordpress.com, refresh the draft, and try to preview it again.

@designsimply I’m not sure whether I understood what you wanted to convey. I’m facing this issue in my self hosted wordpress. I’m able to preview the drafts pretty well in chrome and other browsers, except firefox (3.6 and not 3.6.2).
Need help, I really dont want to switch browser coz of this. -

I’m sorry but you will have to post to http://wordpress.org/support/ as your blog is not being hosted by wordpress.com.
