Can’t visit my own protected blog
-
Hi, I have a blog – it’s a protected blog. If I try to visit it, it says it’s a protected blog and that I have to log in. I’m directed to this page where I can log in. When I log in, I am directed back to the page that says it’s a protected blog and I have to log in.
I thought I was already logged in? And when I log in, why don’t I get to visit my own site? :( -
Hi, sorry! That sounds frustrating. It sounds like an issue with cookies: either your browser is blocking them or the cookie for this site has become corrupted somehow, or your browser might have /too many cookies/ and is struggling for that.
So first, could you test to see if this happens in another browser, after you’ve logged in there? If it does, let us know.
Otherwise, please check your browser for any settings or extensions that could be blocking cookies for yours site.
You can also try clearing your cookies completely. Just note that would log out out of all sites, so be judicious about doing that. You might try clearing just WordPress.com cookies first.
