Can't write in my own blog!
-
Hi, I just set up this new blog, and I’ve been using a secure browser – one of the ones you recommend, in fact. But now, when I try to write a post, or edit a post, it tells me the user (myself) can’t do that. From the messages that have shown it seems that it thinks I am not a member of the site. Even though I’m signed in and activated. Something about the WordPress plugin and the API key? So, I don’t know if wherever I’m routing through has messed this up or what. Please help. Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Are you referring to this blog?
https://ramblingatnobody.wordpress.com/If not will you please post the URL starting with http:// for the exact blog you refer to?

It says: Oops! An error occurred while loading.
User cannot edit posts
When I open the add post page. Then it lets me write stuff but I can’t publish or save it.
Also, the stats page wouldn’t load. And at one point, having gone to the old format stats page, it told me I couldn’t use it because of the plugin and API thing. But then later, the old format page loaded just fine.
Oh hey guess what? I finally found a way to get to Classic Dashboard. And it works just fine.
So, if you wonder why people insist on using that (as well as the old stats page) instead of the “new and improved” experience, that could be why – it just works! -

Ok, how do you get to the classic Dashboard? I absolutely hate the new one, and I can’t figure out how to revert to the old one.

Use the link on the grey admin bar. On the far left, hover over the blog name and on the drop-down menu, click to wp-admin. From there you should be able to get to the full version of the dashboard including Write Post. At the bottom on the right it should still have a Classic Dashboard link. Once you’ve done it this way it should remember your preferenc.e

This link will always point to your “classic” dashboard:

Thanks everybody :). Good to have that link rootjosh. I got to the Classic Dashboard by clicking on a blog post title I think… can’t remember – but that was the only way I could seem to get to a place where the dark grey admin bar even showed up. It does show up now though.
