capital vs lowercase

what if i want to type in all lowercase? the body of my posts work that way but my post titles default to the first letter in every word being uppercase and the title of my blog defaults to all uppercase letters – even though i type in all lowercase. i know it can work. i just haven’t been able to figure it out. can anyone help me?

Assuming that you are hosted here at wordpress.COM (a link to your blog would be useful, and you can link your blog in your user name by following these<a/> instructions), then it is a function of the theme you are using. It cannot be changed without the CSS upgrade and that is not recommended unless you are knowledgeable. There is no official support for CSS.

That’s set into the blog code itself and I don’t think you can change that without changing themes.
-
Maybe that just goes along with your blog theme, it doesn’t work that way for me. Some blogs have default settings, like the Benevolence theme changed my lowercase title to uppercase when I previewed it.

Yikes! Talk about too many cooks!
I’m leaving the forums to you guys then! Looks like they’re in good hands.

Hmm, let’s try that again

(And I really wish we had a preview function in the forums.)

hey!
sorry it took so long to reply. thank you for your help.
i did link my blog to my user name – sorry about that.
the fact that my question is a theme issue makes sense. guess i’ll have to look at changing my theme if i really want everything to be in lowercase.
thanks again!

That text transform is in the theme. If you had the CSS upgrade and knowledge of CSS, you could probably change it.
