  Hi @lilymv if the site is on our servers, you’ll need to have a business plan to add outside plugins:
  https://wordpress.com/pricing

  But we do have built-in features that protect you: Akismet for comment and form spam, which is nice because people don’t have to captcha to comment. We handle it for you behind the scenes.

  And, if you’re looking for extra protection for login authentication, we have 2FA. Just be sure you add backup contact and keep a copy of your backup codes.

  When you host your site here, we take its security seriously for you. :)

  If you’re running your own copy of WordPress with another host, you will want to be sure to keep an eye on your security, though. Our services would not be included, as you’ll be managing your own installation.
