Caption font/size problems while using Block editor
-
Without my preference, I was switched to the Block Editor. Now the captions on my photos show up looking incorrect. Can anyone help? (For my most recent post, I italicized them. For the previous post ‘First Hike’ they’re still wrong.)

Hi @fourgiraffes, I think this could be that your theme has been retired for several years now. I can understand wanting to keep it the same, though.
We have a couple of options:
1 – I can file a bug report. Given that the theme is very old, it’s unlikely it’ll be addressed, but it can be noted at least.
2 – You could switch themes if you’re willing. For blogging, you may like this one:
https://baskerville2demo.wordpress.com/You could use the same background and set the header image to blue like your old banner, if you wanted to keep a similar feel.
3 – You could also upgrade so we could help with CSS to sort this, but I’d understand too if you want to keep the site free.
4 – You could just leave it as is (it doesn’t look terrible) or use the Classic Block to insert images.
I’ll file the bug in the meantime. Let us know what you’d like to do.

Thanks, Supernovia! We ended up changing to a theme we liked which kept most of the same features.
