Caption Not Shown Underneath Featured Images

  Dear Sir/Madam,
  I am unable to get the caption to show underneath featured images in spite of having the relevant information stored in the caption area.

  Hi there, AFAIK featured images https://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/ do not display a caption.

  Can you point to a post on your site where you have added a featured image that does display a caption?

  It’s possible to add the image as the first image in your post with its caption and if Shawburn uses the first image as the featured image, you’ll see the caption in the post itself but not on the blog front page.

  Or is that what you have done?

  Unfortunately, none of the featured images display caption (Which is why I do not have any of them to link to).

  However, if I add a photo without using it as a featured image, the caption will show.
