Caption, suddenly hard to mark?

    I have noticed fairly recently that captions under pictures are really hard to edit now. Did something change, or am I missing something? I can’t seem to mark the text, and it’s hard to just find a prompt in there when you want to edit.

    Hello! We haven’t made any recent changes to the caption process, you should still be able to update the image captions using the option in the block toolbar.

    Hey.

    I figured it out. It’s hard to edit the text if the picture is aligned, but if you pick none under align, you can easily mark and edit the text again. You used to be able to edit the caption text regardless before, not sure what changed. I’m on Mozilla btw.

    Hi, thank you for the update!

    The alignment settings should not have an impact on the ability to edit the caption. You should be able to use the block toolbar to add or remove the caption as needed, and once you’ve added text, you should be able to click on that caption to edit it as with other text on the site.

    If you’re having a different experience, would you tell me a bit more about what you’re seeing, or include a screenshot of the captions which are hard to edit?

    On the above picture, you can see that I have marked the text. I can do whatever I want it, like normal. Copy, delete etc. Align is none.

    But… when the align is center for example:

    I can’t reach that text area easily. Double click does not work. Trying to mark the text bugs out, and starts to flicker. It’s hard to even place a prompt. It’s like the block is in the way. Didn’t use to be like this. Not sure if it’s on my end or something else. Anyway, as soon as I remove the align, I can edit the caption text normally again.
