Captioning of Gallery Images

  Is there some way to automatically caption images uploaded to a gallery using the source filenames? It would make that much easier to do!

  On a basic plan, no.. If you have a plugin-enabled plan you can use this:

  Auto Image Attributes From Filename With Bulk Updater (Add Alt Text, Image Title For Image SEO)

  If you want more control though and have a bit of technical knowledge, you can use this one:

  Gallery Image Captions (GIC)

  which will need this plugin to be able to add the necessary code:
