captions

The captions to my images in my blog are very dark and can barely be read, even though I chose a bold font when I typed them. Any idea how to fix this? Thanks

Hi there,
Wow, what lovely pictures you have on your blog! :) There are limited options for formatting caption text but there are two options you can consider for making text more visible.
Option 1 – Use a Paragraph Block Instead. Rather than use the caption setting in the image block, leave it blank and instead add your caption as a single line of standard text below. You can center the text under the image and style it to look like a caption and your visitors will never know the difference.
Option 2 – You can upgrade to our Premium Plan, and this will allow you to add custom CSS code (which we can help with) that will allow you to assign formatting to the captions that is not possible in the block settings alone. This would allow you to make a small change to the code of the site that will retroactively apply to all captions, both new and existing ones.
If you opt to upgrade please let us know and we’re happy to help with styling the captions. Keep up the good work!
