captions and colors in WordPress

    1) In the last few days, whenever I try to create a caption for a photo, the type now comes out white on white, making it very difficult to read. 2) Suddenly I have no color choices available for headlines, subheads, etc. Only blue. I used to select orange, then the hexadecimal ‘fa4f06’. The interface keeps getting worse.

  • Hi there – Thanks so much for sharing your experience!

Could you link us to an example of where this appears on your site? We’d love to take a look and see what you see. That’ll help us try to find a fix.

This was first reported late yesterday. I’ve added your experience to the list of reports there for additional context on the issue: https://github.com/Automattic/wp-calypso/issues/53397

We’ll reach out as soon as it’s fixed. Thanks so much for your patience in the meantime. And I look forward to your feedback on item number one above. :)

  • Hi! I’m just noting our developers have fixed the issue with Custom Colors not being available in the editor. We thank you for your patience as we worked on a fix for this.
