Captions are now flush right

  When I try to update a draft, a new paragraph automatically defaults to right flush. The “paragraph” option in the drop down menu is showing. Also, when I try to type in a caption, that too becomes right flushed. Even when I highlight and correct to left flush, the caption still does not change; it remains right flush.

  How can I reset to default settings? Really irritating.

  Hi there,

  Is this happening with a lot of your posts, or just a specific one? Also, are you using our new editor, or the classic editor which is available in your dashboard?

  Finally, is your blog set to a left-to-right language by any chance? If so, then it can default to right justified and it can be difficult to set it to left justified as you write right-to-left text (and vice versa).

  Thank you for your input. I was working on a longer than normal post. Things went flush right especially in captions. No matter how many times I deletes a photo, re-uploaded it and rewrote the caption, it went right. Have not done anything with “left to right” and both classic and new. Anyways, I copied text to Word then deleted post and began again. No prob. Thank you.
