Captions dilemma!

    Everytime I attempt to add a caption to the image, not only does it not center to the photo (it just wraps on the left hand side) but it doesn’t even look like a caption. It appears as normal text that you would see in the rest of the post. Whereas I want, smaller writing which neatly fits under the photo, which is perhaps surrounded by a border.

    I’ve been toying with this since yesterday hoping I would be able to figure it out, but nothing! It’s ridiculous because something as simple as captions seem to be stirring up a lot of distress with WP members generally. Is there a bug or some sort of a glitch? Any help on this would be extremely appreciated.

    Have you tried previewing other themes, to make sure this is not just the way your theme does things?
