Captions Not Working

As you can see the caption code is not processed after publishing the post. I think it is a bug.
Can anybody post a solution?

and captions are working there, but on the home page

captions are NOT working. latest posts page is get_the_content()? any solutions?

Since that post is password protected and not visible to anyone but Staff, could you please answer these additional questions:
On that post, have you used a Post Format other than Standard? If so, which? (Gallery, Image, Aside)
Which Gallery type have you used: default Thumbnail Grid, Circle, Tiled Mosaic or Square Tile?

Actually, have you even used the Gallery feature in that post (as described here http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/gallery/ )?
If not, how did you insert the images?

I’m having the same issue. I insert photos by clicking the media button at the top of the post (while I’m creating the post). When I go to the media library, all my photos have captions, but when I go to my posts, the captions do not show up. Have searched support, nothing. The captions only show up if I click the “show attachment file” button while I’m in Media Library. Hopefully someone has an answer…

Thanks, justjennifer. I’ll be ready to make the blog public in a couple weeks. I’ll re-post the issue then. Was just hoping to get the glitches worked out before then.

I figured it out. Even though I was updating all the images via the Media Library, I had to go back to my posts and edit them and insert the “new” images for the captions to appear. Thank You!

i also figured out my issue — it’s a bug in the Blogum theme; switching out to twenty eleven the caption shows up as desired without the caption code.
if you want to replicate the bug, use Blogum theme, leave home page as latest posts, and create a post with an image and a caption. on the preview, which is the specific post page (single.php) the caption works, but on the home page (index.php, showing list of latest posts) the caption code shows up, as if on those latest posts get_the_content() is used rather than the_content().

@ianimichele-Glad you were able to resolve this on your own.
@rubberdiamondgallery- again I would like to ask if you are using the Standard Post Format or the Image Post Format on that specific post?
I did test this for myself and indeed when using the Image Post Format, the image caption did not appear on the homepage, but only in the single post view. So it seems not a bug, but a feature.
