Capture Email subscription on wordpress.com site

  Is there a widget for wordpress.com site to capture email subscriptions? or does wordpress.com only capture blog followers?

  There is no specific newsletter/email submission widget on WordPress.com. However, you can use a custom contact form to collect email addresses for visitors to your site who are interested in receiving a newsletter: http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact-form
