Card charges for another wordpress account on my card.

  Hi,

  I’m getting annual charges for a WordPress account that I believe belongs to a family member who no longer has the email address she signed up for the account with, and doesn’t even remember the address of the blog, so I haven’t been able to use the account recovery page with the 8 character reference from my bank account, because it insists on the URL.

  The AI bot won’t transfer me to a human because ‘I don’t have a paid account’ on my own old WordPress account.

  I’m not sure what next steps to take short of disputing the charges, and I’d rather sort this out with WordPress.

  Happy to provide the reference from my bank account but figured as this is a public form I’d wait.

  … except it couldn’t find the charge, and the “contact support” option points me back at the AI bot. :(

  Actually disregard that, clicking a different button allowed me to send an email to support. Thank you again!
