Card Decline Error
-
hello,
I have tried using multiple cards tto connect my pre-owned domain. Every card keeps giving me a declined error. All accounts have enough funds to complete the payment. Ive even gotten notifications from my bank wanting to verify that this is me making the purchase. My cards are now locked and my domain is still not connected. I would like to speak with a superior in reguards to resolving this manner. It is very unprofessional as it puts my business in a frustrating situation.WP.com: Yes

Hi there, your account information shows one payment attempt for a Personal plan ($48.00) where the CVC number (final three digits on the back of the card) were written incorrectly; additional other payment attempts do not provide specific information about why they are declined, but what we can see is that they were declined by your bank, and not by WordPress.com.
We occasionally find that card providers decline a purchase if their system flags it as a fraudulent transaction. It does sound like your bank automatically blocked these specific purchase attempts, in order to protect you, and this was likely also why your bank wished to ensure that it was definitely you making the payment.
Unfortunately that means there isn’t much we can do on this end; it is up to your bank to ensure that they are protecting your finances but also enabling you to make purchases. You may still need to confirm with them that you do indeed wish to make a purchase on WordPress.com.
When you’ve had a chance to purchase your preferred WordPress.com plan, you can then choose to either connect your pre-owned domain name while leaving it registered with your current domain provider, or you can choose to transfer the domain registration to WordPress.com.
We have information regarding these processes here:
