Caret default to textbox

  I have created a Password protected page. I want to have the Claret in the Password textbox so the user can just start typing the password. I would appreciate any help I can get as to how to achieve this.

  Thanks for your reply. I am building this particular site offline. I want to have everything working before publishing it to the WEB.

  Thank you again for your help. I have provided a live website that I am working on at present. I need to do the same thing with this site.
  https://www.raymackspage.com/contact/ I would like the Caret to be in the Password box ready for the User to start typing the password.

  I have added a password: 1234 This will enter the Contact Form.
