  I would like to have a page automatically open in carousel. Currently it opens as a gallery and when an image is selected it is then displayed on carousel.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You can’t open the carousel automatically, you have to click on a image.
  You can set the gallery to display your photos in a slideshow.

  Alternatively you can use a theme that supports featured content or a more photo oriented one.
