Carousel – option disappeared in media settings

    Have used carousel option in portfolio galleries for years. Now, it’s gone. If I go to media settings, it shows Image Sizes and Uploading Files – but the Enable Carousel option has disappeared. How do I get this back?

    Hi there, for what site is this? The site at wotherspoonteam.wordpress.com is empty of any user-generated content.

    If you are talking about using the Gallery Image Carousel on a self-hosted WP site, you’ll need to install the jetpack plugin. https://jetpack.com/support/carousel/

    Thank you. Our site is pittsburgh.life (wotherspoonteam.com redirects to it). Anyway, I reactivated the jetpack plugin (not sure why it was deactivated).

    Thank you for that tip – however, I’m trying to add a new item in the portfolio and when I select the photos to add and hit submit, it just says “working” and doesn’t finish processing. That was the problem I was having to start with – can’t add photos to the gallery slideshow.

    The existing ones I have still rotate through those photos – but it won’t process if I try to add others there either. Just says “working”.

    If you visit pittsburgh.life, you’ll see them on our home page – left hand side where it says luxury collection properties.

In general if you need help with a site using the open source WP (org) software you’ll want to head over to https://wordpress.org/support where they have more experience with the type of issue you are experiencing.
