Carriage Returns vanish, eliminating paragraph separations.

  I edit a document and get it looking exactly like I want in the editor, with an extra CR to force a blank line between paragraphs.

  I preview it, and it may look exactly like I want – or – all or some quantity of carriage returns between paragraphs have vanished, causing them bump together.

  If it looks good in preview, I publish it, and it may look like I want, or the problem of vanished CRs happens.
