Case of the Disappearing Website

    I have posted twice in the support form and not received and useful feedback, so I decided to post directly to the forum instead. I have only been using my blog for a few weeks and I have had continuous problems with all of the content on my site suddenly disappearing and then later reappearing. I access the site from multiple different browsers and sites and receive the message “Nothing Found”. If I click any of the updated blog posts in Your Stuff I receive the message “Oops! That page can’t be found.” I have over 100 posts on my page and they will suddenly reappear after a few hours. My categories and a page on my website also disappear. I have been unable to access my posts since yesterday afternoon and I am getting tired of this. I tried switching the theme but this had no effect. Why is this happening and how can I fix this permanently? I run my blog off the site and have done nothing but publish posts since I created my blog.

    Odd indeed. Google’s cache of your site is coming back with many, many returns.

    Thank you for your help, I truly appreciate it. I noticed that it shows this as my first post as well. I filled out two of the contact support forms (http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/) over the past few days. I should also note, from seeing other posts regarding this issue, that my profile shows two different blogs though they both have the same url (http://thephilosophyofnine.wordpress.com/).

    Thanks for the additional info. Sit tight. Staff will help you sort it out.

    And unless you have more info, please don’t bump this thread as threads marked for Staff assistance are worked on from oldest to newest and each time the thread gets bumped, it effectively pushes it down in the queue.

    Hi there, sorry about the problems with your blog! I fixed it up so now your blog is working properly. Please let me know if I can provide any further help with that.

    I’m also sorry for the trouble you had getting help with this issue. We had a bug in our contact form that caused problems for some users who tried to contact us that way, but we’ve fixed that up now.
